The Network Provider Information Quality Auditor and Trainer is responsible for auditing and monitoring provider data for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures consistency in data entry, identifies areas of risk, and works with team leadership to implement corrective actions. Partners with IT and leadership to implement new provider systems and enhancements to existing provider data systems. Coordinates root cause analysis efforts and monitors actin plans related to provider data events. In addition, this role leads the training lifecycle-designing, developing, delivering, and assessing training programs for new and existing team members.
Training duties include onboarding new hires, conducting refresher training, developing instructional resources, and ensuring consistent understanding of systems, tools, policies, and best practices across the team. The trainer serves as a knowledge resource, mentor, and performance coach, directly impacting the team's effectiveness and long-term success.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, communication abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our provider network and improving both internal processes and team capabilities.

  • Data Quality Assurance: Perform detailed audits on provider records; identify inaccuracies, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of internal operations, related regulations and standards. +Develops provider data workflows and partners with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality.
  • Develops and continually improves data validation reports to analyze trends in problematic data and create action plans.
  • Audit support through research of audit findings, facilitating the correction of errors, development of correction action plans, and executing all plans timely.
  • Training Development & Facilitation: Design, build, and deliver comprehensive training programs-both live and virtual-covering systems, workflows, policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare networks, credentialing, insurance plans, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Provide individualized support and guidance to staff on quality improvement and knowledge gaps.
  • Instructional Documentation: Create and maintain training manuals, SOPs, quick reference guides, job aids, and FAQs.
  • Knowledge Retention & Assessment: Use quizzes, observations, and performance reviews to assess learning outcomes and identify retraining needs.
  • System Proficiency: Expert user of provider management systems, auditing tools, and learning management platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend changes to workflows, documentation, and training content based on audit insights and user feedback.
  • Communication & Feedback: Deliver clear and constructive feedback to individuals and groups, adjusting instructional style as needed.
  • Collaboration: Partner with leadership, quality, and operations teams to support performance metrics and training objectives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Use of data analysis techniques to identify error trends, root causes, and performance gaps.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Creation of comprehensive audit reports, training materials, and procedural documentation.
  • Monitoring & Compliance: Regularly reviewing data for adherence to internal standards and external regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Health Information Management or a related field is strongly preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare provider data management, quality assurance, or training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of provider networks, credentialing, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • As this role is a remote role, you are required to maintain internet service that allows you to complete your essential job duties without issue. Rates of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload while hardwired and not on a VPN are sufficient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in training program development or delivery.
  • Familiarity with provider management systems or quality monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and industry best practices.

At Avsis, we strive to design equitable, and competitive compensation programs. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $50,780.00-$84,640.00 Zone B: $55,320.00-$92,200.00 Zone C: $59,540.00-$99,240.00 FLSA Status: Salary/Exempt

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, and commission.
