DUNWOODY STUDENTS ONLY FIRST STEP: MEET WITH FINANCIAL AID TO SEE IF YOU ARE WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE Date of Opening: 10/23/25 Position Title: Lab Assistant / Student Worker Department: HVAC Approximate Hours per Week: 15-20 Number of Openings: 1 HVAC department has a position available for a student worker to assist the faculty. First year students, especially those with HVAC experience, are encouraged to apply. Primary Duties: 1. Office tasks, such as creating copies, filing, and typing 2. Classroom and Lab support (cleaning, resource organization) 3. Event Support for Open Houses (typically 3-7pm 1 time per month), Orientation, and Construction Sciences & Building Technology (CSBT) Department events 4. Physical labor, such as moving desks, chairs, and equipment 5. Technical work, such as fixing laboratory jobs Qualifications
1. Familiarity with hand and power tools, or willingness to learn 2. Excellent communicator 3. Self starter, willing to work independently 4. Values safe working environment 5. Desire to work with peers and help them get comfortable with power tools 6. Student in any program on campus, but ideally HVAC | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
