Description 3-4 WEEK ASSIGNMENT *** Coordinator rapidly installs and configures all technical equipment in a new office space. This role ensures every workstation is fully functional and ready for employee use by managing initial setup, testing, and verification of hardware and network connectivity. Workstation Setup: Install and configure all desktop computers, laptops, monitors, and peripherals at individual desks according to the facility plan. * Equipment Deployment: Unbox and deploy technical equipment, including phones, printers, and meeting room conferencing systems. * Cable Management: Ensure all power and network cabling is neatly managed, labeled, and secured. * Connectivity Testing: Verify wired and wireless network connectivity at every workstation. * System Verification: Power on devices, confirm correct loading of operating systems, necessary software, and user profiles. * Troubleshooting: Perform initial diagnosis and resolution of hardware or connectivity issues during setup. * Coordination: Liaise with IT, Facilities, and contractors to meet deployment schedules. * Documentation: Track and document all installed hardware and asset tags for inventory. Skills desktop support, technician, IT facilities, facilities, Desktop, Support Top Skills Details desktop support,technician,IT facilities,facilities Additional Skills & Qualifications Someone who has experience with desk setups, can box and inventory items, can work a drill and a few tools, etc. Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and operating systems. * Networking Basics: Foundational understanding of basic network concepts and cabling. * Organization & Speed: Ability to manage high-volume equipment deployment in a timely and structured manner. * Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 40 lbs.) and perform tasks involving bending and kneeling. * Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring quality and correct connections at every station. * Experience: Prior experience in IT support, desktop deployment, or facility build-outs is highly desirable. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
