ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary focus of the Operations Manager, T&D is to oversee business operations by providing effective methods of day-to-day operations, maintain and strengthen client relationships, and recruit/develop personnel for ongoing and future projects.

Our company's Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division offers a comprehensive range of electrical services, including transmission, distribution, substation and clean energy construction. We are experienced in delivering reliable, high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demands of the power and utility industry.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure organizational safety expectations are met by all employees
  • Monitor the financial performance and production of projects
  • Ensure contractual compliance for current and future projects
  • Strengthen and maintain long lasting client relationships
  • Lead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentor
  • Facilitate and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Travel to project sites and meetings up to 25%
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Essential functions of the position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in a leadership role within the Electrical Construction industry
  • Experience as a Project Manager/Estimator in the Electrical Construction industry, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or combination of experience and education

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop a unified safety culture within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong leadership and team building skills

Salary is commensurate with experience, paid weekly via direct deposit
