THE VALUE YOU'LL BRING:

Directs and supports land and nutrient management staff to comply with company programs and regulatory requirements by scheduling and performing the following duties and/or providing the technical support needed by LNM personnel to complete the task(s).

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified. May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Required to do audits for EMS, Safety, AWMS and BMS.

  • Prioritizes and schedules jobs in the most efficient manner and strives to complete job(s) in requested time frame.

  • Coordinates and assigns duties to the Land and Nutrient Management staff.

  • Directs and supports installation on irrigation systems, equipment, and new technologies on farms.

  • Coordinates repairs on pumps, piping, reels, and other support equipment for farm irrigation systems.

  • Help facilitate interdepartmental work with the Farming departments and contractors.

  • Directs and supports operation of irrigation pumps, reels, and pipe, farm tractors, ditch witch, backhoe (rubber tire and tract), shovel, air compressor, hand tools, fencing tools and any other tools/equipment necessary.

  • Preparing budgets, business plans, effective training programs, and goals for the management complexes within the department.

  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on pumping, financial summaries and activities relevant to the division.

  • Incumbent will be responsible for understanding and complying with company SIPS, EMS and BMS policies and procedures while performing their job duties.

  • Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.

  • Read and understand the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.

  • Assures the best nutrient utilization and land stewardship practices with cattle, grain, trees, wildlife, etc.

  • Coordinates all inspections by state regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all environmental rules and regulations applicable to the scope of land and nutrient management system.

  • Must maintain regulatory certifications - Opacity, Odor, and Public Water Systems

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

  • Weekend, evening, and holiday work required as needed.

  • Must be able to work outside on all weather conditions.

  • Must be on call to work in emergency situations.
