Position will be posted until filled. The Third-Party Risk Analyst leads the execution of third-party risk activities through the life cycle. This role ensures compliance with third party risk processes, and the completeness and accuracy of files related to third parties. Additionally, this role ensures monitoring is consistently performed and aligned with the risk rating of the third party. This role partners across the association on matters related to third party risk ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Execute centralized 3rd party risk management activities across the lifecycle, including planning, due diligence, contract negotiation, onboarding, ongoing monitoring and termination/offboarding Coordinates due diligence specialty assessments through 2nd Line partners (legal, Information Security, etc) Reviews 3rd party evidence with the owner, flags gaps, & complementary user entity controls (CUEs) Maintains complete and accurate third-party records and contract repository, ensuring documentation, assessments, issues, and approvals are captured in accordance with policy. Coordinates periodic risk assessments Consults with business partners to ensure risks are mitigated appropriately Monitor, support, and provides summaries for governance review related to Third Party Risk Execution matters Coordinates with stakeholders to track and remediate control deficiency promptly. Able to identify inter-connected risk events and communicate across the three lines of responsibility to resolve and remediate. Generates reporting to AAC management to accurately reflect the overall alignment of internal control effectiveness and vendor/third-party risk levels with larger organizational strategic objectives and risk thresholds. Contributes to the continued development of internal control awareness in the organization Directs the 3rd party life cycle processes ensuring compliance across the association
LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:Performs no supervisory duties, makes independent decisions; reports to the Executive Head of First Line Risk and Controls within the Chief Delivery Officer's domain. TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
3-7 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: quality assurance, vendor management, compliance testing, financial services, loan servicing, underwriting or risk evaluation. Effective written and verbal communication capabilities, as well as interpersonal skills. Strong collaborative skills with an ability to partner across all levels leveraging the three lines of responsibility model. Demonstrates planning and organizational skills; ability to analyze situations, prioritize to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and be a team player while maintaining a positive attitude Analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate controls and internal control frameworks and perform risk assessments and evaluations of vendor and third-party relationships. Effective at verifying documentation for accuracy and completeness. Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to analyze situations, make independent decisions, prioritize meeting deadlines, work under pressure, and be a collaborator in an ever-changing environment. Proficient in using standard software and information technology to collect, organize, maintain, and disseminate information. Ability to use technology in new or complex situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and collaborate well with a team. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Some Travel required.
FULL-TIME REMOTE: These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.
PAY RANGE: Minimum $83,889.29 - Max $142,611.79 Annual
This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
Reflected is the national base pay range and title offered for this job at the current level. Compensation, title, and job level may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. Salary offered, within the applicable range, is one component of the total rewards package offered to candidates.
