CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Senior CRM Product Owner to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. The Sr. Product Owner drives business value through full-stack, end-to-end product ownership for a complete product or significant product area from discovery through delivery to post-launch optimization. This role will collaborate with the business/marketing team and other stakeholders on marketing technology, CRM and customer lifecycle initiatives. The role integrates outcome-focused strategy, continuous discovery, delivery execution, and operational sustainability with technical depth and accountability. The Sr. Product Owner partners with product leadership to develop product vision and strategy while owning execution within the product area. Leveraging business and technical fluency, the role balances short-term goals with long-term vision and bridges gaps between stakeholders, technical teams, and users to deliver measurable outcomes in an Agile environment. How you'll create opportunities in this Senior CRM Product Owner role: Continuous Discovery * Partner with product leadership (Director) and business and technical stakeholders to develop outcome- driven product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product area, aligned to firm and service line priorities. * Lead discovery using qualitative and quantitative research to validate the problem space, uncover friction points, and identify scalable opportunities. * Translate discovery insights into testable hypotheses and actionable backlog items; validate technical feasibility and business outcome alignment. * Communicate product priorities and progress with clarity to secure alignment across stakeholders. Requirements/Backlog Management * Develop product requirements documents (PRD), process flows, prototypes, Alpha, MVP defining the "why," "who," and "what" for the product area; define instrumentation and telemetry needs for usage tracking and performance measurement against OKRs/KPIs. * Own and prioritize the backlog using value-based frameworks (MoSCoW, Value vs. Effort, RICE) to balance time-to-market, ROI, scalability, and technical debt. * Decompose product vision into prioritized epics, features, and user stories covering functional and non- functional requirements (scalability, auditability, security, accessibility). * Synthesize feedback, behavioral data, and strategic inputs into actionable backlog items with acceptance criteria, dependencies, and alignment to business, technical, and compliance objectives; ensure all work meets Definition of Ready and Done. * Manage risks, dependencies, and assumptions using structured tools; coordinate cross-product dependencies with product leadership. Technical & Solution Alignment * Collaborate with architecture and engineering to ensure business problems are translated into appropriate technical solutions; demonstrate understanding of data schemas, integration models, and workflows to participate effectively in technical discussions. * Evaluate and provide informed input on technical tradeoffs regarding scalability, extensibility, auditability, and platform integration patterns. * Work with technical teams to anticipate downstream needs, including edge-case logic, audit trail requirements, and reusable components considerations. * Balance delivery velocity with technical debt management and long-term system maintainability through effective collaboration on design choices. Continuous Delivery and Execution * Own delivery execution for product area-from validated requirements through production release and post-launch iteration-ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions meet strategic goals and operational sustainability requirements. * Facilitate Agile delivery, including PI Planning, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives sessions. * Define delivery milestones and success criteria in collaboration with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTE), and program/project managers. * Monitor progress, unblock delivery teams, and ensure accountability to OKRs and timelines; drive corrective action when results fall short. Stakeholder Collaboration and Cross-Functional Influence * Serve as the primary product interface between business owners, technology partners, end users, and delivery teams for the product area. * Manage conflicting priorities and secure buy-in for product decisions using structured rationale, data-driven insights, and outcome-based reasoning. * Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs transparently to maintain stakeholder trust; escalate to the Director when needed. * Foster agility, experimentation, and continuous learning within the product area; model systems thinking and long-term platform value. Mentorship and Team Development * Mentor Product Owners on backlog quality, discovery methods, prioritization, and cross-functional delivery practices. * Lead by example in outcome accountability, stakeholder management, and execution excellence. * Support team effectiveness through coaching and knowledge sharing. Performance Optimization and Improvement * Define, track, and analyze product performance against key results; investigate gaps and prioritize refinements that improve user experience, system quality, and business outcomes. * Lead post-launch optimization and operationalize continuous learning to inform iteration and roadmap evolution. * Hold self and team accountable for delivering measurable business value.
