What to Expect We are looking for an Optical Systems Engineer to join the Vision Hardware Engineering team. The candidate will manage a diverse set of responsibilities including the development and ownership of optical models from first principles. The candidate will characterize materials such as glass, coatings, camera components, create corresponding optical models and use them in optical simulations such as ray tracing. The candidate will also guide specifications and standards for materials, lab characterization tools and methods, and camera image quality based on scientific considerations such as radiometry and photometry.
