The Role

The Pharmacy Operations Training Supervisor plays a critical role in the onboarding of new associates, hosting training classes/refresher training, systems testing and deployments. This role encompasses staffing, workflow management, quality and production and ensuring regulatory compliance and service excellence. Reporting to the MAPD, Pharmacy Operations Manager and in partnership with the Clinical Manger, this role will have responsibility for the call center associates to ensure strong performance to metrics, support corporate First Call Resolution goals and foster a culture of development and performance excellence

This role is eligible for the Resident, Mobile, and eWorker personas. This position can be fully remote with an expectation to work in our Hingham, MA office 1x/month but subject to change depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Inventory levels on all lines of business; distribute inventory accordingly.
  • Training new pharmacy classes, with in-person requirements.
  • Develop workflows and job aids.
  • System testing, system upgrades and implementation.
  • Monitor phone splits for all lines of business.
  • Daily inventory reports.
  • Production and Quality review.
  • Support internal hotline for Pharmacy Operations associate inquiries.
  • Create and assist in efforts to support associate engagement.
  • Main point of contact for pharmacy inquires and pharmacy mailboxes for internal external areas.
  • Participate and present in leader and staff meetings.
  • Special projects as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a commitment to quality and exhibits a positive, team-oriented demeanor.
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate interactive learning sessions and present information in an engaging manner.
  • Flexible, independent self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding regulatory guidelines such as NCQA and CMS.
  • Knowledge of BCBSMA pharmacy programs and related Medical Policies.
  • Demonstrates effective listening, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with OLB, CVS Systems, Right Fax, Cisco, MHK and MS Office.

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years or more experience in similar setting.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a call center environment.

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
