Title: Maintenance and Reliability Leader
Location: McIntosh, AL

Salary: $116,000 - $169,000
Schedule: 5/8's or 9/80 available
Relocation Available

Focus: The Maintenance and Reliability Leader is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the mechanical maintenance in the Chlor Alkali Production/Process Area(s) through oversight of Maintenance Engineers and their associated Mechanical support, such as Mechanical Specialists, Instrument Specialists, and API Inspectors.

Maintenance and Reliability Leader Essential Responsibilities:

  • Determine maintenance priorities based on established plans and makes daily assignments.
  • Responsible for all maintenance activities of Maintenance Engineers across the site.
  • Coordinate all needed maintenance repairs and participate in planning meetings.
  • Assist in monthly production report and KPI preparation.
  • Coordinate and integrate with other plant functional areas to ensure consistent quality of work with minimal operational interruption.
  • Follow all plant operating and safety policies and procedures to make on-the-job decisions to permit safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop area engineers and crafts personnel to keep them properly trained for their designated job functions and responsibilities.
  • Provide performance feedback and hold employees accountable for performance.

Maintenance and Reliability Leader Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Maintenance or Operations role; 5+ years preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role; 3+ years preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and workplace standards as they apply to operating areas, including OSHA, EPA, USCG and DOT
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
