• Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

• The Charge Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• She or he provides direct care to these patients via the nursing process, the environmental/instrumentation and management of other health care team members.
• In additional, the Charge Nurse is expected to perform the duties of a Staff Nurse.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified. Experienced new hires have 90 days to obtain ACLS
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Two to five years of clinical experience (preferably in the area of application)

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Experience in patient care management
