About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Sales Effectiveness Analyst to join our Commercial Operations team. This role will focus on improving the operational performance, productivity, and impact of our sales organization. This role blends documentation, operations, and analytics to ensure the sales teams are equipped to meet and exceed their goals.

The Sales Effectiveness Analyst is critical in equipping our sales organization for success by developing clear documentation, streamlining processes, and anticipating future needs. Acting as a connector across teams, this individual will ensure sales has the tools and resources needed to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation & Content Management: Create and maintain instructional guides and process documentation-like for our BioPharma CRM-to support commercial teams. Maintain a centralized repository of resources for sales. Define how commercial and cross-functional teams should leverage repository, version control, using SLAs and SOPs as necessary. Establish process for releasing content and communication logistics to set audience up for success.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Leadership and other Sales Operations teams to define and refine materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales tasks.

  • Sales Proxy: Act as an extension of the sales teams, ensuring their needs are accounted for and represented throughout cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strategic Planning & Anticipating Needs: Analyze sales data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Proactively recommend changes or enablement initiatives based on business goals. Partner with the organization on feedback to anticipate future sales needs.

  • Sales Enablement: Ensure reps have access to the right tools and know how to use them effectively. Support change management efforts during tool rollouts, org changes, or strategic pivots. Facilitate regular feedback loops to understand rep challenges and success blockers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.

  • Typically requires 2+ years of experience in sales enablement, operations, or sales support roles.

  • Ability to create and manage business documentation at scale (e.g., how-to guides, one-pagers, governance frameworks).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and consistency.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a large organization.

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and change management practices.

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

  • Background in onboarding, or enablement program design.

  • Exposure to change management or process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$58,500 - $97,500
