Electrical Design Project Engineer, Test Infrastructure

• Design and develop electrical systems for lab infrastructure and test equipment, including schematics, single-line diagrams, and load schedules
• Specify and select components such as transformers, panels, breakers, wiring, and protection systems
• Perform load analysis and ensure sufficient capacity for current and future lab operations
• Manage project execution from design through installation - tracking budgets, schedules, and contractor performance
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align requirements, resolve design issues, and deliver on time
• Ensure all systems meet NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local code requirements
• Conduct site inspections, develop safety procedures, and drive continuous compliance improvements
• Support ongoing lab operations through troubleshooting, system optimization, and upgrade planning

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical design or facilities engineering (lab or industrial environments preferred)
• Strong understanding of power distribution, grounding, and electrical safety principles
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards
• Hands-on approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
