Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Operations Intern position, you'll work closely with internal teams, external customers, and suppliers to support post-order service and fulfillment. You'll assist with changes such as cancellations, order charges, and backorders, ensuring timely and high-quality service resolution. Acting as a liaison across functions, you'll help maintain strong customer and supplier relationships while contributing to process efficiency.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to support daily communication and documentation.

  • Strong typing speed (40+ WPM) to manage a high volume of requests and inputs efficiently.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-based environment where flexibility and collaboration are key.

What You'll Do & Impact

  • Support team members in managing fulfillment and post-order service requests for suppliers.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and suppliers to ensure alignment with service expectations.

  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email from both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide backup support to resolve customer service issues efficiently and professionally.

  • Maintain subject matter expertise within your team and share knowledge to support collaboration.

  • Analyze data trends by pulling reports using SQL queries.

  • Participate in other projects as assigned by your leader.

Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Available to work 40 hours a week during the summer.
