Role Descriptions & Responsibilities SIMULIA is advancing its strategic position in AI-enabled simulation workflows by developing next-generation data infrastructure that transforms how engineering simulation data is collected, represented, and leveraged for artificial intelligence applications. As an AI Automation Developer with SIMULIA, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to a pioneering initiative that bridges traditional CAD/simulation environments with modern AI technologies. You will develop software infrastructure for automated discovery, analysis, and representation of simulation assets across SIMULIA's ecosystem. This role focuses on creating intelligent systems that can:
The work will involve both traditional development (file system interaction, data extraction, database design) and modern AI integration (LLM APIs, computer vision models), providing exposure to the full spectrum of software engineering in an industrial AI context. Qualifications * Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field * Exposure to CAD, simulation, or engineering software ecosystems * Familiarity with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures This is a paid internship starting in January 2026 based at the Dassault Systemes Office at 1301 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
