Enterprise Architecture - Architect



Position Overview


LinTech Global seeks a seasonedEnterprise Architectto lead EA initiatives under the Executive Office of IRS-CI TechOps. This role requires in-depth experience withfederal enterprise architecture frameworks(e.g., FEAF, TOGAF),IRS or Treasury environments, and the ability to deliver EA "As-Is" and "To-Be" architectures that align with IRS-CI's mission and evolving technology and security requirements.


Core Responsibilities



  • Lead development and implementation offederally aligned EA artifactsand roadmaps using FEAF v2, TOGAF, and other applicable frameworks.


  • Translate IRS-CI's business strategy into enterprise architecture deliverables including BRM, PRM, DRM, TRM, and SRM mappings.


  • Provide EA gap analysis, identify opportunities for tech modernization, and develop iterative EA action plans.


  • Collaborate with section leads across TechOps to architect holistic solutions across cloud, data, app, network, and security layers.


  • Deliver EA lifecycle documentation including complex architecture diagrams, system interfaces, and cross-domain dependencies.


  • Support integration of cybersecurity and IT governance policies into EA plans (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST compliance).


  • Drive use of modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx) and ensure all artifacts remain current and actionable.


  • Support governance, stakeholder engagement, and training around EA processes and standards.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's and 10+ years (or Master's and 8+ years) in enterprise architecture in federal environments.


  • Clearance:Must be able to obtain/maintain IRS Public Trust (High Risk Background Investigation).
  • Demonstrated expertise in FEAF, TOGAF, and familiarity withZachman, DODAF, etc.


  • TOGAF, FEAF, or DODAF Certification


  • Proven experience developing EA for large-scale federal agencies (IRS, DHS, DoD, etc.).


  • Experience delivering EA products mapped to FEA Consolidated Reference Models.


  • Strong understanding of IRS or Treasury EA processes preferred.


  • Ability to develop actionable EA that supports IT investment decisions, PPPM, and CI business goals.


  • Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level briefings.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with EA tools: Sparx EA, ArchiMate, BiZZdesign, etc.


  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, DevSecOps, and emerging tech (AI/ML, cloud-native, zero trust).


  • Experience delivering EA O&M support with regular metrics reporting.
