Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure airworthiness.
- Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual circumstances requiring schedule adjustments, aircraft changes, or additional manpower or technical assistance.
- Oversee aircraft maintenance at assigned field bases, monitor stock levels, and requisition spares as needed for timely repairs.
- Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at the base.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and related documentation in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and client requirements.
- Accurately record maintenance activities in the company's maintenance tracking system.
- Communicate closely with the Lead Mechanic, Base Supervisor, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely job completion.
- Maintain and calibrate special tools, ensuring they remain in serviceable condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of 2 years of certified maintenance experience as an A&P Mechanic.
- Effective communication and computer skills required.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical exam (including strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
- Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Must be able to travel as needed and work night shifts when required by maintenance operations.

Schedule and Location
- 7 & 7 rotational schedule.
- Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or 60 miles from the base (whichever is greater).
