Job Purpose and Overview

The SC Sourcing Leader will lead a team of PO Coordinators and Sourcing Specialists, ensuring the effective execution of supply chain operations related to PO pricing and freight maintenance, item setup, vendor quality concern and invoice management, and compliance processes. This role ensures the timely and accurate flow of materials, products, and information across the organization's distribution centers (DCs) while maintaining strong commercial and supplier relationships, resolving quality concerns, and OSMI management.

Work Setting & Travel Requirements: This is a remote position with up to 10% travel.

What will you do as a Supply Chain Sourcing Leaderat Dawn Foods?

• Lead Sourcing and PO Coordinator functions for all US & Canada DCs, and act as liaison between other DC departments (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Planning, Fulfillment, Demand Planning, etc.) and Vendors
• Supervise and mentor a team of PO Coordinators and Sourcing Specialists while serving as a hands-on leader who actively contributes to daily operations and drives team development.
• Lead efforts on consolidating, analyzing, and reporting network OSMI (Obsolete, Slow-Moving Inventory) to drive cost savings
• Manage and coordinate new item setup processes, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal standards.
• Support the team in resolving escalated order discrepancies, order delays, PIR (Purchasing Info Records), freight conditions and invoice issues.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Procure-to-Pay Process Lead, and Finance to validate item specifications, pricing, and vendor details.
• Lead efforts to resolve vendor-related quality issues and discrepancies at the DC level; reporting to leadership monthly metrics.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and DC Operations teams to document, escalate, and close out concerns.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality, pricing and invoice issues.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process and technology improvements to support accuracy, efficiency and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor team performance while leaning on technology to support.
• Ensure team completes PO confirmations with high accuracy and on-time to goal
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

What Does It Take to be a Supply Chain Sourcing Leader at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field. In lieu of degree 9 years of relevant supply chain experience will be considered.
  
  
  
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory or people leader role experience, or equivalent training/experience required that cultivates these skills.
  
  
  
  
• Expertise in Excel (including pivot tables and VLookups) required
• BI Reporting and SAP experience preferred
• Experience in a distribution environment required; food distribution preferred.
• Demonstrated agility in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Sourcing, procurement and quality concern resolution experience.
• Experience with or knowledge of vendor compliance programs and stocking agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of distribution center operations and supply chain quality standards.
• Analyzing OSMI to implement network changes to drive cost savings is preferred.

Compensation:
Base salary $78,370 to $122,260 with bonus potential
