NOTE: This role is 5 days onsite at our banking client's office locations in Troy, AL Must have a valid Driver's License and their own transportation.

About the team:

FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service. This specific role will focus on our banking client in the Troy, Alabama Region.

What you will be doing

In this role you will be responsible for providing desktop, system and network administration and support to our Managed Services clients. This includes but is not limited to providing remote desktop and network support, providing on-site desktop and network support, performing on-site moves, adds, changes, performing desktop and network administration and monitoring (proactive), and assisting in on-site project implementation.

• Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. Controls user access and passwords.

• Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.

• Monitors usage and performance. Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.

• Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.

• Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.

• Ability to lift and move around hardware and equipment.

What you bring:

• Strong knowledge of implementing and utilizing remote network management and monitoring tools.

• Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting network operating systems: Active Directory, M365, Windows Servers OS, Windows desktop operating systems, Outlook/Exchange, anti-virus, back-ups and other various desktop applications

• Experience supporting both hardware and software applications in Windows

• Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools.

• Ability to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule

• Ability to lift and move around hardware and other equipment. (Printers, Fax machine, Copiers, etc.)

• Must have their own transportation.

Added Bonus if you have:

• Server administration skills

• Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Environment.

• Experience with VMWare.

• Basic knowledge of supporting Azure environment.

• Support experience with FIS banking Applications.
