Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing strong customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help foster a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving position, requiring you to navigate the site to perform your duties. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues discovered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leaders to address security-related concerns and uphold site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
