As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Financials in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer within a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where your professionalism and customer service skills will be vital in handling a variety of situations and engaging with the public. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Control access to restricted areas as required by site policies, verifying identification and/or credentials as necessary.
• Assist with emergency response activities such as evacuations or lockdowns in accordance with location protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed, accurate reports for management review.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and first responders when necessary to address incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Have experience with access control and/or badge systems.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
