Security Professional - Access Control Driver - Media

As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver - Media in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will be responsible for controlling access, performing routine checks, and using technology to support your daily duties. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology, media, or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry, following established protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
