StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Engineering team now. As a Metallurgical Engineering Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification status/configuration of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and process requirements. This is a 10-12-week, paid internship on a part-time basis working onsite at the Dallas-Fort Worth location. What you'll do: * Assist our team with metallurgical lab analysis of samples for plasma application process. * Conduct chemical analysis sampling in support of our Clean Shop chemical tanks. * Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline * May perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications, and on-site client support Position Requirements: * Seeking students for internship who are pursuing their Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Metallurgy or related laboratory field of study. * Strong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement * Ability to work independently multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities in order to meet deadlines * Internship is located in Dallas, TX; *students must be local to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and available to work 1-2 days per week immediately * Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Characteristics: * Microsoft Office a plus * Interpersonal Skills * Problem Solving Skills * Time Management Skills * Willing to work part-time 2-3 days per week at Dallas-Fort Worth job site; starting immediately * Internship is located in Dallas, TX; Students must be local to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area Raising the Standard of Excellence since 1911 With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
