We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist

What you'll do:

  • Conduct new hire orientation and manage all onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned departments within the site, supporting hourly and salaried employees
  • Partner with operations leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Assist in developing retention strategies and employee engagement programs tailored to site and production
  • Provide administrative support, including record keeping, and HRTS data entry
  • Ensure effective communication of employee programs to boost engagement and morale
  • Provide daily employee relations support, including performance counseling and consistent administration of HR policies and practices; resolve employee concerns
  • Collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management in a fast-past environment
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, analyze organizational health issues, and work in partnership HR team to develop and execute plans to address concerns
  • Provide guidance on employment related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action and progressive discipline)
  • Serve as a resource for assigned client groups, addressing questions on policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and related processes
  • Ensure compliance with government, labor, and legal reporting requirements minimizing company risk and maintaining confidentiality
  • Administer the Department of Transportation (DOT) Program
  • Oversee policy administration, compliance reporting (EEOC, AAP, FAA), I-9 administration, and other related duties
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with common office tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including candidate interview/selection, career fairs etc.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What skills you will use:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organization, decision making, communication skills
  • Creative solutions-oriented mindset
  • Professional demeanor with strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • Prior HR experience in manufacturing or similar industry is strongly preferred due to the hands-on, fast-paced, and compliance-driven nature of the role
  • Skilled in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
