Location: Remote within US - Travel 1 week/month approx. Some international travel required.

What you'll do:

As the Senior Director of Engine Leasing, Enterprise Asset Management, you will have overall responsibility for leading the company's global Engine Leasing resources, in all aspects of commercial and operational engine lease requirements. You will partner with the company business unit product line leadership and Enterprise Asset Management Financial Controller to ensure that priorities for asset management investment and engine lease utilization is supportive of and aligned with the company AOP And MRO goals. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Asset Management, you will lead and develop a high performing team across all business divisions and foster a stronger collaboration with the core company business units.

The initial focus of the role is integrating cross divisional teams of engine leasing into a centralized team while establishing a new product into engine leasing contract and management.

Position responsibilities:

  • Lead the Engine Leasing organization, including talent recruitment, development and performance management.
  • Optimize strategy and execute the integration of a cross-sector and multi-product Engine Leasing asset management team across StandardAero.
  • Design and implement new or support evolved business performance and operations management systems to drive consistency, alignment, and increased business performance across the entire Engine Leasing Portfolio within StandardAero.
  • Leadership of and accountability for all tasks related to engine leasing. Including but not limited to, commercial and contractual negotiation, technical evaluation, coordination, administration, issue resolution, and new product or ongoing lease management.
  • Integrate Engine Leasing supply and demand into sector and business unit Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to strengthen longer term planning and ensure competitiveness, cost effectiveness and cash management aligns with company goals.
  • Drive enterprise value by supporting and enabling the MRO businesses through Engine Leasing excellence and growth.
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to enhance the competitive position and profitability of the operation. Lead business case development and approval process.
  • Develop, manage, and improvements of the engine leasing forecast, annual operating plan, and long-range plans.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, finance or a combination of a bachelor's degree and experience in the relevant field
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the aircraft engine market
  • Knowledge of the Commercial & Business Aviation markets

Preferred Requirements

  • MBA preferred
  • Strong business acumen and innate curiosity with a talent for finding and maximizing opportunities in order to collaborate and contribute to the success of the total business model, including support functions such as Material, Finance, Quality, etc.
  • Proven record of engine leasing, operational excellence & continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge and experience utilizing and/or implementing software or technology solutions within the business
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
