SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a passionate and experienced engineer to lead the design and development of innovative electrical and electronic systems. In this role, you'll take ownership of the entire development process-from concept through validation-working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, fully functional products. You'll coordinate design efforts, drive technical decisions, and deliver robust, tested solutions that meet performance and quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide guidance to multi-disciplined teams through the development activities for automotive electronics. Act as the customer technical interface and provide project direction to ensure all tasks remain on time and in budget. Leads all planning, scheduling, and development activities for a project. Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products, processes, and techniques. Analyze customer requirements and specifications. Define system and component operating requirements and control scheme. Prepare technical specifications for the electrical/electronic components and system. Design control circuits, digital and analog. Create PCB layouts in compliance with customer requirements. Development of test specifications and coordination of product test setups. Interface to and direct PCB fabrication activities. Prototype and test new circuits. Supervise electrical testing for design verification. Assist production and test to resolve EE, instrumentation, system diagnostic and control issues. Documentation of work in compliance with ITAF 16949. Provide field support for customers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor in Electrical Engineering Five (5) years of experience in digital electronics engineering Five (5) years of experience designing products with high volume production, preferably automotive Three (3) years of experience using Altium Designer engineering CAD software Working knowledge of automotive specification and requirements for EE and electromechanical systems Experience in developing ISO26262 compliant modules Three (3) years of experience creating automotive DFMEAs Strong communication skills Customer presentation skills Working knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition system PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience using C and Assembly language in embedded programming Broad skills in electrical engineering Thermal Management experience NICE TO KNOW TRAVEL: 5% LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBLITIES: Self leadership in an agile environment COMPETENCIES: Deliver Results Understand the mission and output of your team; set SMART objectives and deliver Drive Change Focus on agility and commitment to continuous improvement; Understand and act on internal and external drivers of change Build Capability Foster a culture of learning and development; Support individual growth through continuous feedback to achieve personal and professional goals Cultivate Innovation Openly embrace, create, implement and support new and innovative ideas, processes and technology that deliver business results PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT (US): All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
