Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA. Requires the ability to travel, as needed, to our corporate headquarters in Lancaster, PA. Hybrid and onsite options may also be available depending on location.

Accountable to organize, plan, develop and direct commercial loan operations resulting in a scalable operation that creates, supports and implements the organizational strategy. Operational management is inclusive of the end-to-end processes associated with commercial loan servicing, encompassing all processes, such as those associated with loan document preparation, document generation, loan funding, account maintenance, line of credit reaffirmations, cashiering, construction administration, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include assessing operational and compliance risk and then designing and implementing streamlined processes and automated controls to mitigate the risk within a scalable operation that adds value to our stakeholders. Possess a comprehensive understanding of complex entity structures and specialty loan products to include but not limited to syndications and participations. Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify needs, support initiatives, and enhance operational infrastructure, ensuring the organization is prepared for commercial banking and organizational growth.



Responsibilities

    Accountable for assessment, development, and implementation of operational design and strategies to support both the commercial banking strategy and the organizational strategy, within an efficient and scalable model that delivers quality service to the customer. Establish and execute on operational strategies that will automate and streamline processes for operational efficiency that demonstrates continuous improvement. This includes the establishment and delivery of key performance indicators ("KPI") and Key Risk Indicators ("KRI"), for peak performance in alignment with peers.

  • Overall responsibility for all operational aspects of Commercial Loan Operations which includes day to day, end to end operations (excluding underwriting), fraud and risk management, technology, implementations, financial budgeting and allocation, compliance, risk monitoring. Ensure operational performance and effectiveness with all functional areas and processing requirements including those provided by third parties and outsourced subservice providers.

  • Accountable for designing operations that are efficient and scalable when optimizing processes while managing to the established budget.

  • Responsible for evaluating and recommending business opportunities and developing revenue growth strategies associated with LOB operations. Establishes prioritization for implementations and process improvements to drive effective end to end system for processing with automated, preventative controls. Ensures appropriate vendor selection and support is achieved including evaluation, selection and management of third party providers and outsourced subservice providers.

  • Recruit, develop, mentor, lead and manage a high performing operations teams that supports the overall growth and customer experience for the company, with a focus on development and ongoing succession planning for key leadership roles.

  • Organize, plan, develop, and direct operational management encompassing all processes associated with commercial servicing within a highly complex regulatory environment and competitive landscape.

  • Organize, plan, develop, and direct operational management of a diverse loan portfolio, encompassing all processes associated with boarding, collateral management, lien release, default management, investor / loan guarantee process requirements and pay off processing.

  • Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring loan operations deliver timely, accurate, and seamless service that meets or exceeds client expectations throughout the loan lifecycle.



Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: business or concentration that aligns with overall responsibilities. (Required)

Experience

12 or more years Commercial loan operations or lending and Commercial servicing management, including demonstrated proficiency in leading teams. (Required)

7 or more years managerial experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Required)

  • Outstanding analytic, strategic, and problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritize and support remediation for large scale operations (Required)

Pay Transparency

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $160,200.00 - $267,100.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
