SUMMARY


The Sr. Consultant will play a significant role in helping to deliver successful projects to clients in the professional and collegiate sports and live entertainment verticals. The Sr. Consultant will help ensure that KAGR delivers impactful and actionable consulting services across a range of project types, using his/her knowledge of key analytical tools, processes, and strategies.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Consulting Team Leader



  • Lead major strategic consulting projects for KAGR clients, overseeing multiple workstreams and managing teams of 2-3 Analysts.
  • Develop and refine strategic hypotheses, direct research and analysis, and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of Consulting team members across varying levels.



  1. Client Deliverables



  • Lead analysis of key client data processes and technology strategy
  • Create client-ready documentation (e.g. PowerPoint slides, Excel models, etc.) to communicate deliverables in a clear and consumable manner for clients
  • Develop new approaches to communicating complex concepts, including through data visualization



  1. Client Relationships and Project Management



  • Lead client delivery for individual workstreams within broader strategic initiatives, managing senior-level relationships and overseeing project deliverables.
  • Conduct client interviews and in-depth technology evaluations to inform recommendations for data and analytics improvements.

  1. Primary and Secondary Strategic Analysis



  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze diverse client data from a range of sources (quantitative and qualitative) to distill relevant findings into actionable strategic insights
  • Manage creation of initial strategic hypotheses, and refine them over time as new data become available



  1. Lead additional operational, strategic and business development projects



  • Collaborate with Consulting team leadership to manage resource planning, develop proposals and workstreams for new client projects, and drive internal business improvements such as outbound marketing and capability growth
  • Execute strategic projects meant to grow the overall KAGR business (i.e. both Consulting- and Platform-driven)



  1. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  2. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • 4-6 years of experience in a Management Consulting, Technology, or Sports setting
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ideal candidates have proven track record of delivering projects (for internal or external clients) to a high level of quality
  • Experience with technology assessment, strategy, and implementations is a major plus, but not required
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills (particularly using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, R, or other similar tools) is preferred
  • Some experience managing projects is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must be team-oriented, coachable, and able to effectively work across multiple departments
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
