JOB SUMMARIES

There are multiple volunteer positions at Crystal Mountain. Here is a summary of each of the positions within the Ski Patrol Volunteer umbrella and their responsibilities.

PATROLLER
  • Mark and maintain hazards on the ski slopes.
  • Provide first aid and transportation to injured and ill guests.
  • Participates in avalanche rescue, lift evacuation, search and rescue operations as needed.

SAFETY PATROLLER
  • Promote safety on the ski slopes through education and enforcement as part of Crystal Mountain's Skier Safety Program.

FIRST AID STAFF
  • Performs first aid and assists guests in the First Aid room.

PHYSICIANS PATROL
  • Performs advanced medical care consistent with Crystal Mountain protocols.

ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT TEAM
  • Paramedics, Airlift nurses and doctors that provide advanced life support care for the very ill or injured consistent with Pierce County EMS guidelines.
