We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to support our Tier 1 Service Providers in the US. Cisco Solutions Engineers are a vital part of the customer journey and are known for their expertise. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team and grow your career.

Your Impact

This role is for a Solutions Engineer supporting Tier 1 Service Providers in the United States, with a focus on the East Coast region. The primary objective is to act as a trusted advisor to top-tier managed Service Providers, guiding them in integrating and leveraging Cisco solutions for their managed service offerings and end-customer deals.

* Strategic Engagement: Build strong relationships with technical and business decision-makers at our top managed Service Providers.

* Solution Design & Influence: Design, present, and influence the adoption of Cisco solutions that address managed Service Providers' pain points and create successful business outcomes.

* Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance, training, and support to enable partners to sell and deploy Cisco technologies.

* Collaboration: Work closely with Partner Account Executives to develop joint plans and ensure successful implementation.

* Market Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of Service Provider concerns, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Cisco's portfolio (across domains), strong Service Provider acumen, and a plus for API integration knowledge. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.

* Sales & Business Acumen: Proven technical sales experience with a track record of meeting targets, ability to articulate value, and strategic alignment with partner objectives.

* Consultative & Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills (including executive presence), strong problem-solving abilities, and a knack for building influential relationships.

* Leadership: Collaborative mindset, ability to educate and influence, and resilience in a dynamic sales environment.

* Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, and willingness to travel within the East Coast region.
