The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing excess inventory. This role involves overseeing the entire inventory process, including forecasting demand, ordering stock, receiving shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining accurate records. The Inventory Supervisor must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively manage the team and collaborate with other departments within the organization.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 5AM - 1:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels by analyzing sales trends, seasonal fluctuations, and product lifecycles to determine optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee the ordering process, ensuring orders are placed in a timely manner and according to established guidelines.
  • Inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality of products.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking sheets, spreadsheets, or software programs.
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage due to damages, returns, or theft.
  • Collaborate with purchasing department to identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiating better pricing with suppliers.
  • Analyze historical data to predict future demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations when handling hazardous materials.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on inventory management processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required; experience with inventory management software such as SAP or Oracle preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Will need to work mandatory OT if needed

$52,700 - $87,900
