As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Chemical/Petrochemical in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Remaining visible and attentive, you will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication with staff and visitors. This position also includes driving responsibilities, supporting the smooth movement throughout the facility. Must Have Prior Military / Law Enforcement / Corrections Experience

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities or situations that may require attention by Allied Universal or client management.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as needed to address security-related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations during each shift, following established protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
• Participate in periodic drills and/or training sessions as required by site policy or Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
