As a DDA Charge Off Specialist, you will handle the oversight of the charged off DDA and collect on past due RCR. Work between JMFA (the Bank's data base of overdrawn and charge off DDAs) and our 3rd party collection agency (currently Transworld) to ensure both are stating the amount owed are the same and all other information is accurate on both. Additionally, assist other job duties within the Loss Mitigation Team when needed and on special projects. Field inbound calls in order to provide quality client service to our internal and external client base and research and answer non-delinquency questions for our clients and business partners. You will build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.


All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.


Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1+ years in DDA charge off collection, client contact and/or client service.


Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:



  • Previous banking and knowledge of charge off DDA and/or financial work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant job experience


Skills and Abilities: Below is a general list of desired skills and abilities; this is not an exhaustive list.



  • Strong understanding of DDA and charge off of DDA collection
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and have some understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and be detail ordinated
  • Ability to work in a team environment
