The role of Associate, Creative Service (Temp) is responsible for reviewing all incoming project briefs and requests, organizing job specs and details for scheduling, and overseeing the lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects. This role delegates tasks within creative workflows based on priorities and individual skillsets and workloads. A successful candidate in this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent time management skills, and effectively communicates and problem solves to meet project needs and deadlines. This is a temporary role estimated to be a 12 week assignment. This may be extended or shortened based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collect all incoming creative project briefs and requests, organize job specs and details for scheduling, and oversee the lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects within creative workflows
- Delegate specific assignments to photographers, photo retouchers, and designers
- Balance team members' workloads by monitoring status of individual assignments and proactively reprioritize tasks as needed to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Support relationships with product and marketing teams to obtain all information and instructions necessary for scheduling
- Distribute assets from the Creative Services team to internal and external partners in order to keep project timelines and budgets on schedule
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide visibility on status of their requests, obtain feedback and approvals, work through any unforeseen challenges, and request deadline extensions when necessary
- Exercise sound judgement to make decisions independently including expedite and prioritize rush requests accordingly
- Ensure projects are fulfilled accurately and final assets are distributed on time
- Enforce adherence to workflow processes and procedures
- Recommend and collaborate with team members to implement process improvements
- Assist in the implementation of a new creative project management system and tools for streamlining workflows and communications by providing experienced-based recommendations
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems required; familiarity with Adobe Creative suite and proficiency with file sharing tools preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions independently and to adapt and respond quickly to shifting needs and priorities with urgency and persistence
- Knowledge of creative process and project management preferred
- Appreciation or interest in sports/lifestyle apparel is a plus
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of experience in a creative agency preferred
- Previous project management experience preferred

The salary range for this posted position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
