Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) - Occupational Therapy Center (OTC) | Northampton, MA

Are you an Occupational Therapist passionate about delivering truly holistic, trauma-informed care? Do you want to practice in a supportive setting where therapy extends beyond the clinic and connects directly to the daily lives of children, youth, and adults?

Since 2000, the CES Occupational Therapy Center has been a dedicated resource for the Pioneer Valley community. We are seeking a dedicated OT to join our experienced and committed team three days/week, with the potential to add an additional day based on caseload.

What You Will Do

Your work will focus on personalized treatment in a safe, playful environment equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. You'll specialize in sensory integration, while also providing evaluation and treatment for vital skills like:

  • Self-regulation

  • Gross and fine motor development

  • Visual perception

  • Daily living skills

What We're Looking For

We need a compassionate and skilled professional ready to invest in our clients and team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited College or University.

  • Licensure: Current Massachusetts Licensed Occupational Therapist and certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge base related to sensory processing disorders, evaluation, and treatment.

  • Experience (Highly Preferred): A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pediatrics and developmental disabilities.

  • Logistics: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle/transportation.

Preferred Training

Training in specialized therapeutic programs is a significant asset! Ideal candidates will have experience with programs like:

  • The Wilbarger Approach for Sensory Defensiveness

  • Zones of Regulation

  • Powerful You

  • Astronaut Training Program

  • Therapeutic Listening

Timeline
  • Hiring Team will begin to review resumes immediately

  • Anticipated Start Date: December 1, 2025

Terms of Employment
  • Schedule: Part-time, 21 hours/week, aligned with the school year calendar (approximately August/September - June). Additional hours/days could be added based on caseload.

  • Critical Need: Must be available for late afternoon/early evening hours to accommodate family schedules.

  • Salary Range: $54,364.10 - $88,552.10 (prorated for part-time status).

The Occupational Therapy Center (OTC) of the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) in Northampton, MA has been providing services to the Pioneer Valley community since January of 2000. The OTC offers a holistic, trauma-informed approach to occupational therapy that connects therapy with the settings and tasks encountered in daily life. Our therapeutic space offers state-of-the-art equipment and a safe, playful environment with personalized treatment opportunities. We provide evaluation and treatment for children, youth, and adults, with a specialization in sensory integration. Sessions may also address self-regulation, gross and fine motor skill development, visual perception and daily living skills.
