Security Service Technician - On-Site in Pittsburgh, PA Are you an experienced security technician looking for your next opportunity to grow and lead? We're hiring for a hands-on role where you'll work with cutting-edge security systems and be part of a team that values professionalism, independence, and technical excellence. What You'll Be Doing: * Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot security equipment and software at customer sites. * Handle service calls and projects from start to finish-on time and within budget. * Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver complete security solutions. * Assess customer needs and help design systems that balance cost, functionality, and risk. * Lead small teams, delegate tasks, and mentor junior techs while maintaining a professional image. Systems You Might Work With: * S2, Avigilon, Galaxy, Paxton, HID, Keri, Brivo Top Skills We're Looking For: * CCTV installation and service * Access control systems * Alarm and fire alarm systems * Low-voltage wiring * Mechanical aptitude * Security system integration What You Bring: * 3-5 years of experience in the security industry (installation and service) * Hands-on experience with video surveillance, access control, intrusion/fire alarms, perimeter security, and traffic control systems * Knowledge of door hardware and locksmithing is a plus * Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including low-voltage wiring * Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Visio or CAD experience is a bonus * Comfortable working directly with clients and leading small teams * Valid Pennsylvania driver's license Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
