The Opportunity

NPT seeks a Philanthropic Solutions Specialist to provide essential administrative and operational support to the SVP of Philanthropic Solutions, helping to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of service to NPT's most sophisticated donors. This role plays a vital part in executing day-to-day tasks and maintaining the smooth operation of donor relationships, ensuring a seamless experience for donors, their family office teams, financial advisors, and other professional advisors. The Specialist serves as a coordinator across departments, supporting the SVP's work and contributing to donor satisfaction through accuracy, responsiveness, and dedication to excellence.

This position requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail, with the ability to balance multiple priorities under supervision. The Specialist will receive guidance and coaching from the SVP and will progressively develop independence and expertise over time.

This role follows a hybrid work model, with two days onsite each week. Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 plus 9.6% annual discretionary bonus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Relationship and Project Management Support


  • As a key support member of the Philanthropic Solutions team, assist in the fulfillment of services and coordination of activities for a portfolio of NPT's donor relationships.
  • Assist the SVP in managing donor relationships, coordinating daily service needs, preparing materials, scheduling meetings, and handling follow-up communications.
  • Support the processing of contributions, grants, and investments, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required tasks and documentation.
  • Administer grant-related correspondence and paperwork, including drafting and tracking grant letters, agreements, wire confirmations, and reporting.

  • Assist with project tracking and organization, monitoring deliverables and escalating issues when appropriate to maintain service continuity.
  • Interface with Legal, Finance, Donor Administration, and Grants to facilitate timely communication and completion of tasks.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure all donor activities are accurately reflected in systems and reports.
  • Support scheduling, agenda-setting, and meeting logistics for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist in preparing background materials and donor summaries for use in meetings and presentations.
  • Help coordinate donor surveys, event logistics, and follow-up activities in partnership with the SVP and other team members.



Leadership and Collaboration


  • Provide high-quality, reliable administrative support to the SVP and Philanthropic Solutions team.
  • Work collaboratively across departments and with business stakeholders in support of NPT's mission and donor service standards.
  • Assist in the execution of departmental initiatives, donor engagement efforts, and communications.
  • Seek guidance and feedback from the SVP to continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects or task forces as assigned.
  • Cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation.
  • Demonstrate initiative and accountability, while recognizing when to escalate decisions or seek supervisory input.



Quality and Process Improvement Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and documentation processes under supervision of the SVP.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining templates, reports, and standard procedures to improve team efficiency.
  • Support the tracking of departmental performance metrics and donor activity, as directed.

Education and Experience:



  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in philanthropy, donor relations, or a related administrative field.
  • Experience in client service, nonprofit operations, or financial administration preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience handling confidential information and supporting multiple priorities with accuracy.
  • Experience within donor-advised fund sponsors, private banks, or family office environments a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in philanthropic relationship management.
