Position Summary:

The Financial Analytics Manager (Manager) will develop reporting and analysis tools focused on understanding and effectively communicating financial results across the organization. The role will collaborate with department leadership to prioritize value-add materials and content to support the visibility of financially sustainable department and organizational goals. This role will collaborate cross-functionally at the intersection of supporting departments and operational units to understand the desired actionable activities that can be transformed into reportable results. Job Duties & Responsibilities

A successful Manager will quickly build an understanding of the business and be able to effectively display and communicate results to various leadership levels across the organization. The Manager will be result-driven, demonstrate broad-range thinking and comprehension, and be thorough in gathering inputs and requirements from multiple sources to build flexible insights and visualization. Thriving in a non-static and creative environment while taking direction and also being a self-starter is a must.

  • Develop and lead the production of financial reporting packages and analytics tools, being responsive and adaptable to feedback and improvement initiatives

  • Build standard presentation of variance analysis to budgets and various periodic performance timeframes

  • Support the department operations needs for visualization of Revenue & Expense activity, performing analytical assessment of the information to articulate relevant observations and key findings

  • Develop process and methodologies for data-display of Key Performance Indicators, trending reports, and ad hoc deliverables

  • Deliver meaningful outputs from the collection of information across multiple systems (EHR, ERP, etc) building datasets from tools including SQL, Microsoft Office, BI software, etc

  • Communication and professional conduct

    • Perform employee evaluations in a timely manner

Additional Job Description:

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration/Management or other related field required

  • Master's Degree or MBA is a plus

  • 5+ years experience in finance, accounting, or business/analytics field

  • 3+ years experience in healthcare environment

  • 2+ years experience in or supporting service operations

  • Demonstrated progression/performance in modeling and analytical development supporting department goals

  • Advance knowledge of Excel and query/reporting tools

  • Experience in multiple technology systems (EHR,CRM, ERP, etc)
