Job Description
General Purpose of Job: The Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization by analyzing and optimizing revenue cycle functions. This includes preparing and interpreting key performance metrics, uncover opportunities for process improvement, dive deep into data analytics, and collaborate cross-functionally with departments that impact revenue cycle. - Lead charge integrity operations across multiple service lines; ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimization.
- Independently resolve the most complex charging-related errors in Epic work queues and implement sustainable fixes.
- Own build, maintenance, and optimization of charge-related master files and methodologies; design new frameworks for emerging services.
- Lead design and testing of Epic rules/edits (charge router, claims, revenue guardian) for major upgrades, workflow overhauls, and go-lives.
- Perform advanced variance and reimbursement analysis; partner directly with payer contracting and revenue leadership to resolve discrepancies.
- Represent Revenue Integrity in high level projects.
- Develop and lead charge capture strategies that proactively prevent denials and optimize reimbursement.
- Mentor and train Analysts I & II; act as escalation point for high-risk or systemwide charge capture issues.
- Serve as liaison with auditors, compliance, and senior leadership; present findings and strategic recommendations.
- Author training materials, process guides, and standards for charge integrity.

* Minimum 5 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle / Finance experience required. |
Education |
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Science, Economics, Finance or related field. * Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Science, Economics, Finance or related field, preferred. |
Specialized Knowledge and Skills |
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Strong organization and time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. * Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on supporting process improvements * Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. * Ability to lead projects, optimize systems, and drive organizational change. * Expert knowledge of Epic charging workflows, payer reimbursement, and regulatory compliance. |
