Work Schedule: 15% FTE, part-time position, day shift. You will coordinate schedules with other student help workers so there is a student in the microbiology lab 2-3 hours per day Monday - Friday. Weekends are split between students so there is a student each weekend from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Gain valuable experience working in healthcare while you go to school. We are seeking a Student Help - Microbiology to: Support the lab by making reagents, stocking supplies, aliquoting reagents, filing and xeroxing while using proper laboratory techniques. Provide assistance to the team by compiling data for quality monitors and entering data into spreadsheets. Interact, communicate and assist with Clinical Lab staff as needed.
