Location: New Milford, CT

Pay: $37 - $43.28 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities



  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, lighting systems, devices, and building equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and support production controls, automation components, and electronic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, VFDs, and control circuits.
  • Maintain and service building lighting, task lighting, parking lot lighting, emergency lights, and energy management-controlled systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical utilities and equipment (480V or less).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to ensure proper installation and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.



Qualifications



  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship Program; minimum 5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience.
  • Valid driver's license and applicable electrical certifications/licenses required.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage, fire alarm, voice/data systems, motor controls, and logic control systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficient in basic math, electrical calculations, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
