Advantage xPO is hiring an HVAC Technician to join our esteemed client's team. Pay | $28.00 - $33.80/hr.

Schedule | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment, including monitoring BMS systems and refrigerant operations.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and rounds to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, refrigerant use, and preventive work in CMMS.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely, including hand tools, power tools, vacuum pumps, and refrigerant recovery systems.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA, lock-out/tag-out, and hazardous material protocols.
  • Support other technicians with major repairs and assist in optimizing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly stock vehicles and shop areas.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding work progress and equipment status.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as needed.



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved license preferred.
  • Proven experience maintaining industrial/commercial HVAC systems.
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.


Physical Requirements & Work Environment



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Work in environments requiring steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, eye protection, and other PPE.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and industrial environments.
