Pay: $30 - $38 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform mechanical and electrical inspections, preventive maintenance, and system repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, determining repair or replacement needs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Maintain, repair, and operate HVAC, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment at a journey level.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oiling, belt adjustments, cleaning, and greasing.
  • Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets performance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical information in clear, simple terms.
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and recommendations promptly.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with contractors, building owners, and other trades.
  • Recommend system improvements or additional services to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational HVAC training preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (installation, repair, maintenance).
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • HVAC license (NC/SC) preferred.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting low-voltage HVAC controls.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with HVAC diagnostic software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
