DESCRIPTION



  • The position is for a Customer Contact Specialist for the 2nd Shift.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and the Customer.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to the customer.
  • Must thoroughly understand the customer requirements and ship schedules.
  • Maintain data integrity with respect to the billing process.
  • Communicate ALL material shortages to the customers and Plant Schedulers.
  • Set up expedited shipments when necessary.
  • Resolve any Cum errors and quantity discrepancies.
  • Work with other Customer Contact Specialists, Plant Schedulers, Shipping Clerks and the planning group.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, work daily overtime as required and work weekends as required.



REQUIRED



  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as a pleasant attitude and speaking voice.
  • Must be very detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of QAD/TMS systems, knowledge of logistics, knowledge of basic manufacturing processes or previous operations or logistics experience.

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in logistics or customer interactions preferred.



EDUCATION

High school graduate with training such as that acquired in the first year of college, technical or business school. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

This person will also interact directly with outside truck drivers.
