The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Variable hours officer will join the Migration and Nutrition Epidemiology team
(https://manecumc.wixsite.com/mane) to work primarily on the CAMINANDO and retinoblastoma studies. The duties include data analysis and assisting in grant submissions and manuscripts and overseeing data entry and assisting in complex data entry.
The data analyst will assist in data entry, working closely with the data manager and will assist in preparation of materials for publication, presentation, submission to conferences, and for grant submissions.


Responsibilities



  • Data analysis 50 %
  • Assisting in grant submissions and manuscripts 20%
  • Overseeing data entry 20%
  • Assisting in complex data entry 5%
  • Others duties as assigned 5%



Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's Degree in Public Health (quantitative) with 2 years of data analysis experience.
  • Data analysis Experience.
  • One-year experience including data entry, data analysis, rascal management, grant submissions.
  • experience with epidemiologic studies and must be able to use a relational database, Microsoft Access.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English, and the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
