Overview Panel Drafter Summary: Performs updates to existing panel design drawings from markups and comments from designers, project team or customer while maintaining company and customer standards. Purpose: Assist with most aspects of panel design projects by working with Designers, project team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads and interprets customer diagrams and documentation and communicates with project team to understand objectives and preferences.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma and AutoCAD training and/or experience. Language Ability: Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, project managers, and co-workers. Math Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as basic math, algebra and geometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: An understanding of AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Documentation Software: Adobe Pro Certificates and Licenses: No certifications are needed.
