The Mobile Asset Manager provides both preventative and reactive support for Chick-fil-A's mobile assets. The position is responsible for ensuring the mobile asset and kitchen equipment meet all performance specifications through reactive and preventative maintenance support.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the day-to-day support of the mechanical and vehicular systems of the Chick-fil-A's Mobile Asset portfolio, including, but not limited to, diesel engines, gasoline engines, generators, and fleet infrastructure
Coordination between Facilities Management and fleet management partners to complete regularly scheduled inspections of the truck and equipment
Point of escalation for Facilities Management to effectively resolve and repair any maintenance issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with fleet management partners and other local vendors to manage timely completion of the fleet maintenance
Develop a national network of fleet management vendors specific to food truck repairs
Commissioning/inspecting new mobile assets prior to acquisition and acceptance by Chick-fil-A
Develop and educate fleet management processes specific to the Chick-fil-A's Mobile Asset Program to all stakeholders
Ensure reports, photos, and other information collected during routine fleet inspections and properly documented and archived
Effectively partner to manage the transition of mobile assets by ensuring all fleet and facilities issues identified are properly addressed
Partner with the fleet management vendors to ensure that retrofits and programmatic improvements to the mobile assets are executed to standards
Respond to and resolve any issues related to fleet damage due to accidents, breakdowns, or acts of God
Other duties as assigned

SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree is preferred or combination of work experience and certification, high school diploma, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5+ years of fleet-related trade experience.
Proven technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in fleet management, mechanical systems, and kitchen equipment.
Experience in service work for fleet maintenance and restaurant mechanical systems.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Driver's License and proof of insurance.
Evidence of safe driving record as exhibited in an MVR is required.
Ability to safely drive/operate company vehicles to and from various properties.
Solid mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of appropriate tools, gauges, meters, etc. in the execution of work required.
Ability to read diagrams and schematics.
Ability to work non-business hours when required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and with the ability to use proprietary mobile application to capture service.
Ability to take initiative and recognize a need to act without prompting from supervisor.
Unwavering positive service attitude with the ability to maintain a friendly, helpful attitude, and demonstrate empathy to Operators and vendors.
Travel with 75-100 overnight stays per year

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments).
Lift, carry, pull, or push 50 lbs.
Climb stairs, step stools, or ladders up to 2 stories high (with ladder safety training), twist, crouch, kneel, or crawl frequently during the course of a day.
Spend extended periods of time standing.
Bend over to pick up items from ground level, turn from side to side.
Walk on even or uneven surfaces frequently during the course of a day.
Use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, squeeze, manipulate, or operate machinery frequently during the course of a day.
Tolerate changes in weather and be able to complete tasks inside and outside.
