Manufacturing Engineer

STS Technical Services is hiring Manufacturing Engineers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position offers the opportunity to join a stable and growing organization where your work directly supports the production of high-quality, precision-machined components.

This role focuses on developing efficient manufacturing processes, programming CNC machines, and driving continuous improvement across machining operations. Candidates should be highly skilled problem-solvers with strong technical aptitude and a passion for engineering excellence.

• Plan machining and assembly operations based on customer requirements
  
• Develop shop routings, operation sheets, tooling, and process documentation
  
• Program CNC machines to efficiently produce high-quality components
  
• Analyze and resolve machining and tooling issues
  
• Create or revise manufacturing drawings using CAD tools
  
• Lead and manage key engineering projects
  
• Participate in Corrective Action and MRB Boards
  
• Apply value engineering to reduce cost, lead time, and cycle time
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
  
• 7 or more years of experience in a similar role
  
• Strong CAD/CAM proficiency
  
• Advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
