JOB PURPOSE
The Electrical/Electronics Engineer IV l is responsible for Installing, configuring, and testing computer networks to include both hardware and software.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Hardware includes, but is not limited to routers, switches, servers, inline encryptors, and modems
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity problems with some assistance
- Run and trace cables
- Attend technical meetings
- Assist with the development of technical briefs
- Update technical documentation as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Job Located at U.S. Government Facility
- This position requires a U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individual must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for employment
- Associates in EE or other related field or High School and 2 years in an industry trade school, military service school, or civilian college in EE courses; Other EE Schools or Certifications in Communications or NARTE.

Required:
- Electronics technician experience or equivalent (such as troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and de-installation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides and ducts, logic analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, etc...)
- Experience with the installation and maintenance of IT hardware (i.e. routers, switches, etc...) and experience with building out IT racks.
- Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time and project management skills
Preferred:
- 9-12 years recent Navy C4I or other relevant EE experience in design, build, installation, testing and recommending corrective actions.
