Job Description Position Overview The main responsibility of the utility position is to support the bag lines by bringing the raw materials to the production floor and removing the finished goods from the production floor and stage them for shipping. Working as a member of the production team to maintain the facility safety, quality, and productivity standards. Schedule: 1st: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pay rate: $18.50/hr Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions & Responsibilities * Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality. * Responsible for consuming product to locations with use of RF Scanners. * Build boxes according to shift guidelines and specification. * Responsible for finishing the packaging process, affixing labels and palletizing according to bag specifications for finished goods. * Remove full pallets from production and move them to the staging area of warehouse (staging area) for shipping/receiving to put away. * Supply all raw materials to the bag & box production area. * Empty all scrap containers as needed and bale scrap as required. * Responsible for doing scheduled sanitation activities on material handling equipment. * Complete all documentation completely and accurately. * Assist in the training of other personnel in the utility department. * Other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Pallet jack experience preferred. Specific Skills: Time management, attention to detail. Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jacks, RF scanners, palletizers. Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills, WMS experience preferred. Work Environment Manufacturing Plant.
